Social Responsibility

Copán Industrial, makers of Copán Dry, is now in its third generation as a family owned business. More than a mere source of dividends, Copán Industrial is a generator of employment for our community, a worthy example for our children, and an opportunity for us to constructively participate in our community.
Santa Rosa de Copán, our headquarters, is the only community our company has known since 1945, and it is a privilege to work with and assist its people, the same people who have preferred our soft drinks for over half a century.
Copán Industrial has been associated with some of the most noble causes in our community for many years. We have donated purified drinking water on a permanent basis to the Teletón Foundation, the only nonprofit rehabilitation center in western Honduras, since its creation. In a similar manner we collaborate with the city's retirement home, the fire department, and the local Red Cross.
In 2005 we had the honor of sponsoring western Honduras's first Clean Water Fair, organized by local officials with the purpose of promoting the importance of water conservation and watershed protection.
We are also present at local sporting events, civic activities, and social events. We participate every year in our city's annual fair, and in 1998 we were proud to see our candidate chosen as fair queen.
For these and many other reasons, when you think of a family owned beverage company that is truly committed to its local community, think of Copán Industrial, makers of Copán Dry.
